Project Description: The Trades Center for Green River Community College will provide classrooms and instructional space for the College’s Vocational and Technical Education Programs. (5,100 sq ft Carpentry Lab, 8,000 sq ft Welding Lab, 13,700 sq f t Auto body Lab, 6,774 sq ft Automotive Lab and a 7,100 sq ft Manufacturing Lab). RGU is the architectural firm in charge of developing the laboratory spaces and the integration of equipment and support systems. The project scope includes meeting current and future needs of the technical education departments. Total square footage is 65,000 sq ft with an anticipated Construction Budget of $23,948,000. An additional $2.5 Million has been allocated for equipment purchases. RGU is working with the College to deter-mine, specify and purchase all equipment.
