ROLE Rick recently became part of the RGU team and offers over 30 years of experience in architecture and project management. His expertise includes education (K-12 through higher education), commercial, industrial, federal and state government, and healthcare projects. He has also been the administrator for five recent LEED commercial and government projects, all attaining a minimum level of Gold certification. Three of these projects were for the US Department of Homeland Security which imposed significant and stringent requirements for the projects, which were Land Ports of Entry (Border Crossings) in Washington State. Rick will oversee the general management of the project, including maintaining adherence to schedules and budgets, overall coordination, supervision of construction documents, and construction administration. SPECIFIC EXPERTISE Rick is considered by clients to be a consensus builder. He has the ability to bring project teams together to create positive outcomes. His significant years of experience in numerous project types provides a valuable asset through his depth of knowledge. His experience also includes a large volume of pre-design and master planning work, and projects involving multiple stakeholders. Rick excels in Project Management. He has attended Tetra Tech’s Project Management Institute and PSMJ’s Project Management Boot Camp (twice). Additionally, he has also successfully completed PSMJ’s Principals Boot Camp. This training helps Rick consistently achieve positive project results.
